Kasee + Chiz, at home.
No venue, no shuttle, no countdown — just the yard they know, the people they love, and a day that felt exactly like them.

The Story
Backyard weddings ask a simple question: what if the most meaningful place is the one you already have? Kasee and Chiz answered it with a celebration that turned their own outdoor space into the warmest venue I photographed that year.
Days like this reward presence over production. The images that matter are the ones between the schedule — a hug over the fence line, kids running the yard, the couple stealing a minute on their own back steps.
From the Day
Photographing A Backyard
Why it works
Familiar ground means everyone relaxes faster — and relaxed people make the best photographs.
Making it photograph well
We scout the yard together beforehand: where the ceremony light lands, where portraits go, what the evening needs.
Thinking about it?
Intimate weddings and elopements are welcome here — the day doesn't need to be big to be photographed beautifully.
