The Story
Between the Amanas and the interstate, the farmland around Williamsburg opens into some of the widest skies in Iowa. This wedding used every bit of them.
Farm weddings reward photographers who trust the land. The couple built their day around the farmstead — ceremony facing the section line, reception in the cleared machine shed, portraits wherever the light said to go.
What the photographs remember is the scale: weather moving on the horizon during vows, string lights against a genuinely dark sky, and the kind of sunset that only happens where nothing interrupts it.
